Souvenirs Ensemble is a chamber music group recently founded by Keyla Orozco and her brother Jorge Orozco to perform mainly Latin, Caribbean and American contemporary music. It is named after Keyla Orozco’s composition for string quartet “Souvenirs”, which will be world-premiered in this program. The ensemble is integrated by a culturally diverse group of musicians based in the Washington DC-Metropolitan Area, all having exceptional careers both as soloists and chamber music performers. Jorge Orozco, violin; Jennifer Lee, violin; María Montano, viola; Vasily Popov, cello; Hsiang-Ling Hsiao, piano.
